Jason Babin had 18 sacks last year for the Philadelphia Eagles, but was cut this week. The Jacksonville Jaguars claimed him off waivers.
Babin, who had 18 sacks last season, had been one of the disappointments in a reeling Eagles defense with only 5 1/2 sacks in 11 games this season. With the Jaguars, he joins a team tied for last in the NFL in sacks with Oakland, posting just 13 total through Week 12.
