Francona and the Red Sox did not part on the best of terms.
Former Boston Red Sox manager Terry Francona has had a change of heart.
The current ESPN analyst will attending the Red Sox's 100th anniversary celebration of Fenway Park on Friday afternoon, according to ESPN-Boston.
Previously, Francona had said he would not attend the event because of the way things ended between him and the Red Sox after the team's historic collapse last season. The former manager, who won two World Series with the Sox, told the Boston Globe last week that he felt :"somebody went out of their way to make me look pretty bad."
But on Wednesday he told ESPN that he believes he owes it to the fans to show up.
