The boys basketball coach at Morgan County in Georgia became the girls basketball coach after the school was faced with massive budget cuts.
Coaching a boys and girls team at the same time is common in high school sports such as cross country, track and swimming.
But basketball? That doesn't happen anymore.
It's happening in Georgia - so well that one coach has extended the season of two teams.
The boys and girls basketball teams at Morgan County High School have both advanced to the state quarterfinal round.
After the 2010-11 academic year, the school system suffered massive budget cuts. Charlemagne Gibbons was already coaching the boys basketball team, and as a way to help the school save money he offered to coach the girls team as well.
Gibbons said he's "just a basketball guy."
He's apparently a good basketball guy. The boys team is 25-4 while the girls stand 28-1. Gibbons said the programs "feed off each other."
There's a good chance both teams are feeding off the coach, too.
