Hockey: Eric Cameron's natural hat trick puts him at century mark.
Eric Cameron finished a natural hat trick in memorable fashion - by posting his 100th career point - as visiting Greenfield rolled to an 8-2 win over Amherst at Orr Rink.
Cameron, a Mahar Regional student who plays on Greenfield's co-op team, reached the century mark in only 57 games, a pretty impressive feat.
"Ever since he's been on the team, he's been a force," Greenfield coach Mike Duclos said. "He's definitely our most skilled player, and this year he's developed more into the role of a team player."
Cameron also had two assists, while teammate Cameron Merrigan scored twice.
"If you look at what we've had the last couple seasons, he's pretty much been the bulk for us," Duclos said. "Tonight he took it to another level. It was a good way to get it."
