Red Sox offer fans with tickets to Tuesday's game to come back Wednesday or Thursday

In a gesture of good will, the team announced that tickets from Tuesday's game could be exchanged for tickets to either Wednesday or Thursday's games at Fenway Park. Tickets can be exchanged at Gate E up to two hours before the start of either game.

BOSTON — Whether you sat through the rain or decided to avoid it all together, the Red Sox are inviting you back.

In a gesture of good will, the team announced that tickets from Tuesday's game could be exchanged for tickets to either Wednesday or Thursday's game at Fenway Park. Tickets, used or unused, can be exchanged at Gate E up to two hours before the start of either game.

Wednesday's game, against the A's, is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. Thursday's series opener with the Astros is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.

There was an announced attendance of 29,006 at Fenway on Tuesday, although the stands did not appear to have that many fans on a rainy and mostly miserable night.

Boston lost to the A's 13-0 on Tuesday in a game shortened to seven innings because of the weather.
