The custom bat was inscribed with the names of bombing victims Martin Richard, Lu Lingzi, Krystle Campbell and Sean Collier.
Boston Red Sox outfielder Jonny Gomes is honoring the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings today with a custom-made bat.
Gomes' bat has the names of the three people who died in the bombing as well as MIT police officer Sean Collier carved into it. Gomes is playing left field and batting ninth for the Red Sox in Game 1 of a doubleheader vs. the Kansas City Royals at Fenway Park.
