Friday's Boston Bruins game against the Pittsburgh Penguins has been postponed according to Boston Police.The Boston Police department announced it on their official Twitter feed.
The NHL confirmed it minutes later.
The game is rescheduled for Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at TD Garden. The game's status will be formalized no later than 8:30 a.m.
Tickets for Friday's game will be honored.
The Penguins were scheduled to host the Buffalo Sabres Saturday, but that has been moved to Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
The postponement comes in wake of a massive manhunt for the second suspect of the Boston Marathon bombing.
The Bruins canceled morning skate because of the manhunt.
The team also postponed playoff ticket sales until Monday, April 22 at 11 a.m.
UPDATE 10:45 p.m.: Bruins confirm game will be played at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
