The dunk put Boston down 91-82, somewhat within striking distance with half the fourth quarter still remaining.

BOSTON -- Jordan Crawford is 100 percent positive his dunk Monday night on Brooklyn Nets power forward Reggie Evans was his best this season.

He knows because it's his only dunk this season.

"My first dunk of the year," he said after the loss, "so it was kind of cool. Kind of cool."

Crawford scaled Evans' back to put back a layup missed by Jeff Green with six minutes left in the fourth quarter.

"I really just was timing it, just in case he missed it," Crawford explained. "And (Evans) didn't see me jumping over him. That's all it was, just timing the ball coming off the rim."

The dunk put Boston down 91-82, somewhat within striking distance with half the fourth quarter still remaining. But we'll just say the slam didn't exactly ignite a major Celtics run. The Nets scored the next 10 points over a three-minute stretch, pushing their advantage to 101-82.

Crawford said his explosiveness has been limited.

"I've had an injury all season, my ankle, so I'm finally getting my strength back in it," he said.

So does that mean we'll be seeing more poster dunks soon?

"I don't know," he laughed. "I don't think so."
