Head coach Doc Rivers said Sunday that he considers Garnett "50-50 at best" to play against Miami, but still ranked the injury a "1" on a scale of 1 to 10.

After missing shootaround on the morning of the game, Kevin Garnett is considered a game-time decision for Monday night's meeting with the Miami Heat.

Garnett (left adductor strain) did not play Saturday against the Charlotte Bobcats and missed Sunday's practice.

Head coach Doc Rivers said Sunday that his best guess would be that Garnett is "50-50 at best" to play against Miami, but still ranked the injury a "1" on a scale of 1 to 10.

"I don’t think it’s that serious," Rivers said Sunday, according to the Boston Globe, "but it’s just a point in the year where you’re just not going to play him if he’s not feeling great."

As many smiles as it would cause in Boston if the Celtics end Miami's 22-game winning streak during Ray Allen's second return to the TD Garden (and first that won't be overshadowed by Rajon Rondo injury news), getting Garnett healthy should certainly be considered the primary objective at this stage of the season.
