Notes reportedly show he owed the clinic up to $30,000, but did not associate his name with performance-enhancing drugs.

The name of Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun is included in a client list for a Miami-area anti-aging clinic that allegedly supplied performance-enhancing drugs to New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, Yahoo! Sports reported Tuesday.

The report also said that Major League Baseball will investigate possible ties between Braun and the Biogenesis clinic.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Braun was not linked directly to PEDs in the handwritten records of Anthony Bosch, the former director of Biogenesis, but in one mention he apparently owed Bosch between $20,000 and $30,000.

Braun tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone in October 2011 and later was suspended for 50 games under MLB’s drug policy. Braun successfully appealed the suspension, saying that the urine sample used to generate the positive test was handled improperly. In November of that year, Braun was named the National League’s Most Valuable Player, edging out the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Matt Kemp.

Braun, in a press conference before the start of spring training last year, vigorously denied using PEDs.

Yahoo! Sports said a representative for Braun did not return phone messages seeking comment.

The Biogenesis documents also list New York Yankees catcher Francisco Cervelli and Baltimore Orioles third baseman Danny Valencia, though like Braun, no substances were associated with them. They were, however, listed alongside Rodriguez and Melky Cabrera.

Last week, the documents were the basis for an explosive report in the Miami New Times, which outlined Rodriguez’s alleged connections with Bosch. A-Rod, through his PR firm, denied knowing Bosch and of using PEDs. In 2009, Rodriguez admitted using banned substances from 2001 to 2003 while he was with the Texas Rangers.

It was later announced that baseball has been investigating alleged ties between players and Biogenesis.
