The Bruins will host the New York Rangers on opening night, Saturday, Jan. 19.
After a long agonizing day, the NHL lockout is officially over as the League and Player's Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding to agree to terms to a new 10-year collective bargaining agreement.Teams are now allowed to open training camp Sunday and release their 48-game schedules.
There are 13 games down for opening day, which will be next Saturday, Jan. 19.
The Boston Bruins will host the New York Rangers at TD Garden for a 7 p.m. start. Originally Boston was suppose to face the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre, but are instead hosting the Toronto Maple Leafs.
