Player to watch
Lucas Troutman, FTroutman is a very skilled scorer, along with being the Phoenix's leading rebounder. Coach Matt Matheny said Friday that rebounding has been an issue at times for Elon, so if the Phoenix are to put up a challenge against the Minutemen, Troutman will have to both score and hit the glass.

Notes
• Perimeter defense will once again be key for UMass. Elon shoots 24 three-pointers per game, and guard Sebastian Koch is 18 for 39 (46 percent) on the year.• Both teams will want to get out in transition, but a more athletic UMass team will look to take better advantage of its opportunities.
• Look for mostly man-to-man defense from the Phoenix, but Matheny said he will go to a zone here and there.
