FOXBOROUGH -- It looks like it's going to be a wet and rainy one for tonight game between the New England Patriots and Houston Texans.

The tarp just came off the field and it, looks, well, wet and sloppy. Ball protection could become a big theme tonight.

As far as the game goes, there's no need to keep hyping this one up. We've done it all week, and everything you need to know can be found here. And if we didn't go a good enough job illustrating the magnitude of this contest, Houston WR Andre Johnson put a bow on it by saying that this is the biggest game in the Texans' history.

If Houston wins, it can proclaim supremacy in the AFC. If New England wins, it still has a shot at the AFC's top seed. If it loses, well, Houston is basically a shoo-in. It's that simple.

Other news and notes:

- The Patriots activated RB Brandon Bolden to the 53-man roster. He's coming off a four-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

-- It's "Matt Light Night" here at Gillette Stadium. The former left tackle will speak at halftime.

-- Inactives come out 90 minutes before kickoff. We'll update this post with that information when it becomes available.

Patriots inactives: OL Nick McDonald (shoulder), OL Markus Zusevics, TE Rob Gronkowski (forearm), DL Jake Bequette, DL Ron Brace, DB Derrick Martin and FB James Develin

Texans inactives: CB Alan Ball (foot), LB Brooks Reed (groin), OL Antoine Caldwell (hamstring), OL Cody White, OL Derek Newton (knee), TE Garrett Graham (concussion), DT Terrell McClain
