Zach Bartak returned and accounted for three touchdowns, but Greenfield still fell to Turners Falls, 29-22.
GREENFIELD- The upwards of 2,000 plus fans got the game they were hoping for Thursday morning, as the Turners Falls Indians downed the Greenfield Green Wave 29-22.
Following up last year’s Thanksgiving Day victory, this is the first time since 1975-76’ that Turners Falls (9-2) has defeated Greenfield (8-2) in consecutive years.
The Indians where led by running backs Ryan Wilder (121 rushing yards and one touchdown) and John Ollari III (82 rushing yards, two sacks, and game MVP) and quarterback Malcolm Smith (66 passing yards, one touchdown).
While Greenfield once again was led by quarterback Zach Bartak, who had over 250 total yards, and was involved in all three touchdowns (one passing, rushing, and one fumble return).
