Bennett, ESPN's No. 7-ranked player, is undeclared but considering a number of offers including UConn, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri and Ohio State.
We told you about Findlay Prep's Brandon Ashley on Friday. Today, we take a look at his teammate Anthony Bennett. Combined with Ashley, the 6-foot-7, 230-pound Bennett helps provide a bruising front-court presence for Findlay Prep.
Bennett is considered perhaps the top Canadian prospect in this 2012 class. Currently undeclared, he's considering offers from UConn, Florida, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Washington, West Virginia, Oregon, Missouri, Ohio State and UNLV.
Bennett is a tough matchup for most defenders as he's equally effective inside and out. He can bury the 3-pointer and he can get dirty inside the paint. Defensively, he's a terrific rebounder and uses his thick frame to overpower on both sides of the floor.
Prospected as an elite power forward, Bennett and Findlay Prep take on top-ranked Simeon (IL) on Day 3 of the Hoophall Classic.
