Moore was released Wednesday.
Sterling Moore is back. … Sort of.
Waived Wednesday to make room for the addition of Derrick Martin, the second-year cornerback has been signed to the New England Patriots practice squad, according to ESPN.
Moore played in all eight games during the first half of the season and recorded 13 tackles and one forced fumble.
Moore joined the Patriots last October and emerged as a key member of the secondary. His pass breakup on Lee Evans late in the AFC title game helped send New England to the Super Bowl.
