Reporters still weren't welcomed on the Harvard campus where the Bruins held their second lockout practice.
While many Boston Bruins players are deciding to stick around for the time being during the duration of the lockout, David Krejci isn't one of them.
The Czech native confirmed to CSNNE.com's Insider Joe Haggerty that he is close to signing with HC Pardubice in the Czech League.
Krejci, 26, said he always thought he'd go back to his home country to end his career, but not now.
An insurance issue is the only thing holding the deal up, but once that clears, Krejci said he'll be flying over in the next couple of weeks.
Another Bruin planning to book it is backup goalie Anton Khudobin who signed a deal with HC Atlant in the KHL.
Defenseman Andrew Ference hinted to reporters Tuesday that HC Ceske Budejovice could be a possibility for him in the Czech League if the lockout runs long. He played there during the last work stoppage in 2004-05.
Defenseman Dennis Seidenberg will be in town another week, but then likely head out to his native country Germany to join his younger brother Yanick on the Mannheim Eagles.
HARVARD 2, MEDIA 0: The Bruins held their second lockout practice session at Harvard where reporters weren't welcomed.
Haggerty, Kevin Paul Dupont of The Boston Globe, and a third reporter were "shooed away" by the University's security while attempting to cover the practice and speaking to players.
That led to this tweet from Dupont:
@GlobeKPD: Wonder where Harvard security was deployed when all those students were cheating on exams.
Ouch.
Well everyone knows that the media doesn't give up that easily.
Despite security throwing them out of the rink, the University called campus police when they found out interviews were being conducted after practice according to a tweet from Haggerty.
What will be in store for tomorrow? Stay tuned.
