Harry dishes out helmet stickers for UMass' week-two loss to Indiana.
In a 45-6 defeat where not too much went right for UMass, I've only got a few helmet stickers to dish out for Saturday's performance.
- Mike Wegzyn, QB
Wegzyn's overall performance was nothing to write home about, but it was significantly better than last week. He hit Marken Michel on the throw back play that led to the first touchdown (got to take the opportunities when you have them), and then showed some decent speed on that 16-yard scamper for UMass' first score of the FBS era. Wegzyn still has a long way to go, but he took a step forward in week two. - Tajae Sharpe, WR
For a true freshman, Sharpe continues to impress me, especially with his route running. He always seems to be where he's supposed to be on pass plays, and if he and Wegzyn can develop a sense of rhythm and timing, they will be the prime combination in this UMass offense. - Colter Johnson, P
Johnson won the punting job from Jeff Strait and didn't disappoint in his first week of duty — averaging 44 yards per punt and knocking a 50-yarder in the second quarter and a 55-yarder in the third.
