According to a report by OCNN, Chad Ochocinco has signed a one-year deal with Miami Dolphins, ending a four-day span of unemployment after being cut by the New England Patriots.

Terms of the deal are not yet known. The six-time Pro Bowler worked out for the Dolphins earlier Monday.

Ochocinco, who caught 15 passes for 276 yards last season, grew up in Miami and still keeps a residence there, so this will be a homecoming of sorts for him.

For the Dolphins, they get a player at a position of need and someone who will help soak up some of the glow from the HBO cameras that will be ubiquitous throughout training camp.

The Patriots travel to Miami in Week 13 and host the Dolphins Week 17.
