Holley won Michael Irvin's show, "4th and Long."
The New England Patriots have replaced one reality star with another.
After parting ways Chad Ochocinco last week, the team brought in wide receiver Jesse Holley, who won Michael Irvin’s reality show, “4th and Long,” which afforded him the chance to compete for a spot on the Dallas Cowboys roster.
Holley (6-foot-2, 200 pounds) capitalized on that opportunity and won a spot on the Cowboys practice squad in 2010. He was signed to the 53-man roster in 2010 and caught seven passes for 169 yards last season.
The Patriots also signed tight end Tyler Urban on Monday, and announced the signing of offensive lineman Mike Ingersoll.
Urban is an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia. He was briefly signed by the Tampa Bay Bucs, but was released on May 17. He caught 37 passes for 429 yards during his collegiate career.
