As far as places to watch a college football game go, the new home for UMass gets a pretty good grade.

The Bleacher Report ranks Gillette Stadium as the 33rd best place to watch a college football game out of the 124 teams in FBS.

Taking that a little further, the Minutemen will play in the No. 3 ranked stadium when they head back to Ann Arbor to take on Michigan this fall.

The other nonconference road games this season will have UMass play in Vanderbilt Stadium, ranked 65, and UConn's Rentschler Stadium, No. 81.

As for Mid-American Conference road games for the Minutemen, Western Michigan's Waldo Stadium comes in at 46, Northern Illinois at 114, Akron at 116 and Miami (OH) 117.

As for future road games, it is safe to say the Minutemen and their fans will be traveling to some of the best football venues in the country.

Notre Dame comes in a No. 7, Florida's Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at 8, Camp Randall Stadium at Wisconsin is 11, Penn State is 20, Indiana 23, Kansas State 36 and Colorado 56.

Boston College's Alumni Stadium brings up the rear in nonconference games at No. 102.
